When Texas became the 28 th state of the Union in 1845, its national flag became the state flag. The colors of the Texas flag are blue, which stands for loyalty, white for strength, and red for bravery. Recipes
| Dip: Add contents to 11/2 cup sour cream and 1/2 cup mayonnaise. Mix well and let mellow at least 30 minutes.
Spread: Mix with 12 oz. cream cheese. Add 4 tablespoons of milk. Let mellow at least 1 hour.
Low-Fat: Mix with 1 1/.2 cup fat free sour cream or 1 ¼ cup lite sour cream and ½ cup lite mayonnaise. Let mellow at least 1 hour.
Salad Dressing: 1 cup buttermilk and 1 cup mayonnaise. Mix and let mellow at least 30 minutes.
Serving Suggestions:
Tastes great on salads, crackers, bagels, pretzels, and as a dip with chips.
