Jellies & Preserves
In the Hill Country there’s a long heritage of jelly and preserve making. The area is rich in natural fruits – peaches, strawberries, apricots and wild mustang grapes. Our ancestors canned up cellars full of those fresh fruit jellies and preserves so that during the cold winter months the family could be reminded of those warm and balmy days with a taste of spring and summer on a hot biscuit. At Fredericksburg Farms we’ve sought to carry on that fine tradition of making jellies and preserves.
