Just like that, we have raced past Halloween and Veterans Day and now we are smack up against Thanksgiving. Here at Fredericksburg Farms we are signing up for what we will bring to our Thanksgiving feast next Monday here at work. Reading over the list makes me hungry and I start thinking about which recipe I have that sounds good. I find that the best recipes are usually found on cookbook pages that are worn and stained, meaning that they have been made many times and have been deemed “keepers.” And then there are those that are kept only in my head like cornbread stuffing, giblet gravy, and tart cherry pie. Hmmm? Think I need another cup of coffee before I decide.
