Being a life-long learner, I love to learn new things. In our business we often need to introduce new products to our line. The creative process to bring something new to the market is fascinating. From early product research to brainstorming sessions, to prototype design, sourcing materials, Beta testing and finally approving the product and bringing it to market. Each step offers multiple opportunities to learn something new. At Fredericksburg Farms, we get product ideas from all around including customers, employees in all areas from production to shipping, sales and administration. Challenges will and do arise, and as my mama always said, “A set back is just a set up for a comeback!”
