Remember being in school and having the wonderful respite from classes that was known as “Spring Break?” I don’t think while I was in school and experiencing this lovely vacation from teachers, professors, assignments, and exams that I truly appreciated it’s value. How wonderful it would be today as a working adult to have “Spring Break.” Freedom from staff meetings, bank reports, tax reporting, customer service, receiving and shipping, staffing issues, and the ubiquitous Zoom calls. To get a break I do take vacations, but with a laptop and hotspot close by. A “real” spring break…those were the days, my friends, and we thought they would never end.
